At BB Company, we know that every woman’s digestive needs are unique, especially if you're managing sensitivities like bloating, food intolerances, or gut discomfort. Below, we’ve outlined key information to help you make informed decisions when it comes to probiotics, FODMAPs, and our flagship products, Provitalize and Previtalize.
What Are FODMAPs?
FODMAPs (Fermentable Oligosaccharides, Disaccharides, Monosaccharides, and Polyols) are a group of carbohydrates that can be difficult for some people to digest. They’re commonly linked to digestive symptoms such as:
- Gas and bloating
- Stomach pain or cramping
- Diarrhea or constipation
Understanding Provitalize and Previtalize's Prebiotic Content
Provitalize includes a special synbiotic blend, combining probiotics (good bacteria) with a prebiotic called fructo-oligosaccharide (FOS).
Previtalize contains three types of oligosaccharides that are fermentable, which may make it unsuitable for those following a strict low-FODMAP diet, especially during the elimination phase.
FOS is a non-digestible carbohydrate that feeds the good bacteria in your gut. While FOS is generally beneficial for gut health, it is classified as a FODMAP and may cause discomfort for those with heightened sensitivities. That’s why individuals on low-FODMAP diets are often advised to limit it during the early stages of their plan, but reintroduction may be possible over time.
⚠️ Important: If you're sensitive to FODMAPs or following a low-FODMAP protocol, please consult your healthcare provider before starting Provitalize or Previtalize.
Personal Sensitivities and Dietary Considerations
We understand that everyone’s body is different. If you have allergies, digestive conditions, or specific dietary needs, we strongly recommend speaking with your healthcare provider or a registered dietitian before introducing any new supplement.
To support your decision-making, all ingredients are clearly listed on the Provitalize label so you can confirm whether it fits your needs.
If you have questions or would like personal support, our Customer Happiness Team is always here to help.
