Overall, there are no known clinically significant interactions with most medications that we are aware of. But there are 2 areas we could find that garners more caution:
- Provitalize contains Bioperine (a piperine extract). A couple of studies suggest that piperine may inhibit CYP3A4, CYP2C9 enzyme & PGP, which could potentially boost concentrations of their substrate medications like carbamazepine, diclofenac, propranolol, etc. However, none of the studies proved whether the interactions are clinically significant.
- As Provitalize contains curcumin, we do not recommend taking with blood thinners like heparin where their anti-clotting effect may be amplified.
Do note that we are not medical professionals, thus we cannot give medical advice.
If you are on medication, in pregnancy, or suffer from any medical conditions, please inform your doctor your interest in taking any of our supplements (eg. Provitalize, inergyPLUS, Radiancy).
