BB Company has added a Rakuten Rewards option to eligible checkouts for customers in the United States.
Eligible shoppers may see a Rakuten Cash Back offer during checkout. The offer is provided and fully funded by Rakuten Rewards.
Why Can't I See the Rakuten Cash Back Offer?
The Rakuten Cash Back offer is currently available only when all of the following apply:
- You are shopping from the United States.
- The email address entered at checkout is not already registered with Rakuten Rewards.
- You use the standard BB Company checkout.
- You do not use an accelerated payment method such as Shop Pay, PayPal, or Google Pay.
ℹ️ Important Note:
Existing Rakuten Rewards members will not see the offer when using an email address already registered with Rakuten.
How Does the Rakuten Rewards Option Work?
If you are eligible, the Rakuten Cash Back option will appear below the email field during checkout. The option is unchecked by default.
- Select the Rakuten Cash Back option during checkout.
- Complete your BB Company purchase using the standard checkout.
- After your purchase, follow the Rakuten Cash Back prompt shown on the order confirmation page.
- You will be directed to Rakuten to finish setting up your Rakuten account and access your reward.
What Happens After I Complete My Order?
After an eligible purchase, the order confirmation page will display a Rakuten message confirming that you earned Cash Back, together with a button to claim the reward.
When you select the claim button, you will be redirected to Rakuten. A Rakuten account is automatically created after an eligible shopper opts in and completes the purchase.
You will then be asked to create a password so you can access your new Rakuten account.
How Much Cash Back Will I Receive?
Rakuten Cash Back offers may vary depending on the shopper and order.
The amount displayed during checkout is the Rakuten Cash Back offer available for that purchase.
Rakuten Rewards funds and administers the Cash Back offer.
When Will My Rakuten Cash Back Be Available?
Your Rakuten Cash Back will initially appear as Pending in your Rakuten account.
According to Rakuten, Cash Back may remain pending for approximately 3 to 14 weeks while it is processed.
Once the reward becomes confirmed, payment follows Rakuten Rewards' standard payout schedule.
