It’s likely that your address is located in a restricted destination or prohibits one or more of the products in your cart. An example would be InergySleep. Please, check the restricted destinations here before contacting our Customer Service team.
Known Issues
If the shipping destination is not listed in the restricted destinations list but you still encounter the "order can't be shipped to the address" message at checkout, it might have been caused by a technical error that we have observed to affect Apple Pay and Shop Pay users.
There are a few possible causes that we're aware of, and here's how to resolve them:
Your state/county/province input is missing
Revisit your checkout session. When you encounter the "order can't be shipped to the address" message, click on the link to "Change" next to your address
Check your address state/county/province field. If you see that it is not selected, this is likely the cause of the error. Re-select your correct state/county/province to continue to checkout.
Your country is incorrectly recognized
This might occur if you see the error message on the Shop Pay payment page.
Using Isle of Man destination as an example:
- Re-enter your shipping address in Shop Pay.
- Select the Isle of Man as your country in your payment account (e.g., Shop Pay account)
Do not select the United Kingdom because Shopify treats them as separate countries
Your phone number is incorrectly formatted in Shop Pay
If your selected the correct country in your shop pay shipping and payment account, check your phone number format.
-
Inside your Shop Pay account > Tap on the ⋮ beside your address > Tap on "Edit"
-
Update your phone number > Ensure it contains the correct extension and country code > Save > The error should be resolved
- If the error still persists > Delete your phone number > Save
